Where? Why? How?
These are the questions we are left with after the ECW Champion, Metaphor, somehow disappeared at the end of EPISODE 10, where he squared off against the seemingly D.O.A-affiliated challenger, Brent. Despite Tank's music playing during the match, Brent was not so easily distracted when he landed a Jackhammer on Metaphor resulting in a pinfall that may have crowned him the new champion. 1...2.. and the lights went off in the arena and a chilling female voice came over the speakers in the arena saying something to the notion of "Do you want to play hide and seek"? This isn't the first time we've seen Metaphor appear and re-appear, but is something bigger going on here with our ECW Champion. Like Brent, is Metaphor working alone?!
-- ECW's next CPV is announced!
-- Rightfully so, it looks like Abraham Little isn't going to let Eric Samoyd off easy. Only a couple episodes ago, the YouTube champion used Abraham Little's father, Abraham Sr. as the perfect distraction to retain his title, when he SKO'd a 65 year old man on the outside ring. On EPISODE 10, Abraham Little wasn't even close to done with Samoyd, as he wouldn't even let the YouTube champion walk down the ramp to the ring before viciously assaulting him. Surely Eric Samoyd will have something to say about this. Has the YouTube champion just hit a speed bump in his new title reign, or is he reverting back to his old ways?!
-- The Misfits are once again #1 contenders for the ECW Tag-Team Championships. After coming off a victory against the mighty Hannity Brothers, The Misfits have once again set their sights on their most prized possession, the ECW Tag-Team Championships. There's one problem, and that is Chi-Town Slide. Chi-Town Slide has taken the ECW Tag-Team division by storm, and have held the titles for a record amount of time. Can they continue the streak going into the next CPV? Or will the Misfits once again be crowned Tag-Team Champions and regain their former glory?
-- A.T.A is back, and he has his sights set on the Hardcore Championship. One problem though, he will have to go through JWG to get it. The Hardcore division has arguably never been tougher with the addition of JWG in the New Era, with him having earned the Hardcore title twice already. Will A.T.A be able to "bring the title back home" like he suggested? Or will JWG gain another notch under his belt? These two go head to head for the Hardcore title on EPISODE 11!
-- Hatori Honso is back, and is making it her #1 goal to climb all the way back up to the top where she originally started in ECW. Hatori has dominated her previous opponents, more notably the ECW Women's Champion, Kimberly Paige. This must leave the Women's Champion a little insecure about her current title reign. Can Hatori's second Women's title reign be stopped? Only Kimberly Paige can decide.
-- There's no other way around it, Mark Brandle is on fire right now. After being challenged to a bitter Sermon Bundy last episode. The match may not have gone the way Sermon was hoping, when he not only had his hands full when Brandle accepted his challenge, but walked out of the match! The match ended up chalking up yet another win for the very hot Brandle. Could we be looking at a potential title reign for this superstar soon? Surely, he's due!
-- Hale made his anticipated in-ring debut against new D.O.A member, Wesley Underhook on EPISODE 10, and what a debut it was! Hale absolutely crushed his competition, earning his first win as the newest member of ECW's main roster. Who will be next for the Metaphor henchman?
-- Colossus was nowhere to be found on EPISODE 10. Perhaps he is licking is wounds (both mental and physical) from the happenings of EPISODE 9, where the D.O.A voted to remove him from the group due to a poor performance at No Way Out. The culprit for his downfall would seem to zero in on Shant.
